Worldox Virtual User Group Meetings
Every month (usually on the last Monday) Paul Purdue and Mary Jo Boyd lead this fast-paced, informative, and interactive forum where you can ask questions or just learn from the group. Paul and Mary Jo announce their pre-selected topics in an email that’s broadcast the Thursday prior to the session. You can login to the session live, ask questions, and interact with the attendees, or you may “attend” by simply playing back the recorded session. Enjoy!

Learn how to create folder like structure using projects and categories in Worldox

Join Paul and Mary Jo on Monday, November 25th at 3:00 pm ET as they explore two strategies that clients have found useful in organizing documents in the non-folder based world of Worldox.
Mary Jo will talk about how to use Categories to “tag” or identify your documents as having certain characteristics. You define the categories, so you create the “characteristics”. By tagging your documents, you are then able to search based on those tags, regardless of the location of the document itself.
Paul will talk about how to use Projects to organize documents into distinct groups. By utilizing projects, you are able to create places to group documents (that are related in some way) so that you can find them later.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they delve into searching: for clients, for matters, for text, for anything – and what it means when you don’t get the results you’re expecting.
Have you ever been frustrated trying to specify the client or matter in the profile screen? Mary Jo explores ALL your options and how to use them effectively.
Paul digs into what to do when you’re not getting the results you know you should when searching for documents.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they tackle delete options and quick profiles (as opposed to favorite matters) in Worldox.
You may not see them (depending on your firms’ setup of Worldox), but there are three different “ways” to delete a file in Worldox. Mary Jo explains what they are, how you use them, and how (sometimes) you can get a file back.
Paul takes a look at Quick Profiles and how they differ from Favorite Matters.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they explore archiving matters and the best way to import discovery documents.
Do you have documents from closed matters showing up in your “client files” searches (and taking up costly disk space)? Mary Jo shows how you can archive documents, segregate their storage, and still be able to include them in searches (but only when you want to).
Paul demonstrates the best practice for importing discovery documents into Worldox.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they explore the Workzone and the Compare Button.
Did you know that the Workzone (that square icon at the top of your screen) does more than just open Worldox? Mary Jo looks at ALL the functionality that the Workzone brings to the table.
Paul looks at how you can configure the Compare Button to work with several external document comparison programs.
Join Paul and Mary Jo as they delve into Email Rules and Versioning for items coming into the firm from outside sources.
Have you ever NOT wanted to save an email into Worldox? Or have it stop asking for the emails you send to your spouse or kids? Or stop asking to automatically profile emails altogether? Mary Jo looks at how to control the automatic profiling of emails.
Paul looks at what you can do to re-associate a NEW version that comes from someone outside the firm (client, co-counsel, etc.) with the original document (rather than saving as a brand new document).
